Our Shopify Automation Is Live

Has anyone done more to help small business owners inject personality into their companies than Shopify?

If you answered Bonjoro, we appreciate you saying so but respectfully disagree. The answer is no-one. Since its founding in 2004, Shopify has grown to become one of the biggest and best loved e-commerce platforms out there. It helps hundreds of thousands of merchants sell their products and empowers ordinary people in a way that few pieces of software can claim to do.

But while Shopify has helped to modernise the processes by which things are sold, the forces that drive those purchases remain the same as they’ve been since the earliest barter economies. Buyers want quality, they want to keep to their budget, and they want to feel like they have a relationship with the seller. We can’t have much effect on the quality or price of your product. But we do know a thing or two or relationships.

In e-commerce as in everything else, relationships are stoked and sustained by communication. A heartfelt or unique message (a personalised video thank you, for example) can make the difference between a one-off purchase and a lifelong customer. That’s why when we were drawing up our list of dream integrations, Shopify was at the top of the list.
